We are currently in the midst of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hype and domination of the current box office. While Episode VII does continue to steamroll through the record books, there is still a lot to talk about on that end. But considering that we are getting an all-new movie in the franchise every year for the foreseeable future, our focus has also, understandably, turned towards the upcoming installments such as "Rogue One."

'Rogue One' The Beginning

The conclusion of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has left us with a lot of questions about where the characters will be going in future Episode movies. But before we completely get into Rian Johnson's Episode VIII in 2017, we will first be seeing Gareth Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." It is the first of the many upcoming standalone spinoff movies based on Star Wars.

Mads Mikkelsen's Role

Currently, the rumors floating around is that Mads Mikkelsen will be playing a character role named Galen in Rogue One. That's pretty much all the legit information we have about his character right now. But we also know that the actor does insist that he is not playing a villain.

Max Von Sydow's Role

We don't know much about Lor San Tekka, who is going to be played by Mac Von Sydow. But he has obviously been around for quite a while, familiar as he is with Ben Solo, saying that Leia will always be a royalty to him.

He is a very experienced traveler. He is someone who has proven his worth to the Rebellion hundreds of times already, as well as being a member of the Church of the Force. It is a group that shows deference to the Jedi, despite being powerless themselves.

About Rey on Jakku

In the meantime, depending on who abandoned Rey on Jakku, it is possible that he was sent there or took it upon himself in order to keep a close watch on her as she grew. It is much like Obi-Wan Kenobi did with Luke Skywalker.
