Brad Pitt has request for an emergency hearing to request that details of his ongoing custody battle with Angelina Jolie be made private on Wednesday. But it had been denied by a judge. Before the hearing took place in Los Angeles, both lawyers had submitted information via emails to the court which shed light on the progressively scathing dispute.

According to TMZ report, in one email, Pitt's attorney Lance Spiegel claimed that while his client has complied with the child therapy process, "the therapy team has ignored or disregarded issues that [Brad] has raised."

A temporary custody arrangement accepted by both Jolie and Pitt determined that the therapists would make decisions about visitation. Actors attorney wrote to the court, that 'Regardless of [the therapists'] views, there is no reason for his client not to request court orders' for more access to the kids. He and Jolie share six children and she has primary custody.

The legal communications revealed by TMZ says that at the end of November, lawyers for Brad had asked Angelina's attorney if she would agree to greater visitation during December between the actor and the kids, in a number of 30 to 60 minute monitored sessions.

According to the same report, Jolie's team rejected the idea.

"Maleficent" actress' attorney Laura Wasser accused Brad's team of ignoring the best interests of the kids as decided by the therapists.

Because of this kind of information, Brad Pitt had tried to keep secret by petitioning Los Angeles Superior Court Richard J. Burdge Jr. to order documents that are related to the court case to be sealed.

The judge ruled there are be an expedited hearing on the matter and the hearing remains scheduled for next month.

Brad Pitt told the court he was worried for his kids. "I am extremely concerned that if court records regarding custody are not sealed, information contained therein will cause irreparable damage to our children's privacy rights," the actor said in a sworn written declaration filed on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Jolie's lawyers wrote in court filings that 'Allied' star was looking out for himself and not his kids. "His ... the request is a thinly veiled attempt to shield himself, rather than the minor children, from public view," Jolie's attorneys wrote.

Brad Pitt will have to wait until their next hearing on January 17 to try to get again for the documents to be sealed. This emergency hearing came after Angelina Jolie reportedly filed new documents last week regarding their temporary custody agreement.

Brad Pitt's reps didn't comment on this latest development while Angelina Jolie's have yet to respond to Daily Mail's request for comment.
