According to the Scott games website, the Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location Custom Night release date is going to be on December 10. The Custom Night DLC is a game mode that features a gameplay that is similar to the previous Five Nights at Freddy's entries, but this time, it uses the Sister Location animatronics. With that being said, here's what we know so far about the upcoming update.

A Straightforward announcement

The release date of Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location Custom Night update has been set on December 10. Scott Cawthon previously told the fans on Steam Discussion to expect the DLC to hit in December. Fans will just have to wait a few more days until this free update rolls out in the game.

New game with the same gameplay

The Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location Custom Night update will unlock a game mode that will feature the traditional gameplay of the game series. Players will have to manage energy while they continuously monitor cameras and close doors to avoid getting killed by animatronics. Fans are already used to the game's gameplay and some are even immune from jump scares as they have been used too many times.

New features in store

However, the new features and gimmicks of the newest Sister Location animatronics are yet to be seen. According to some reports, it could definitely challenge fans once again. Players also had a glimpse of the Custom Night gameplay if they have continued down the 'Fake Ending' route.

Unlocking Custom Night

Players can only unlock the content of the Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location Custom Night update if they at least have a 3-star completion of the game. The events that are happening in the Custom Night mode are considered as non-canon and won't be a part of the game's main story. However, it won't be stopping fans from finding any item or information in the game mode which could help explain the game's lore even further.
