CBS's police procedural action television series, NCIS: Los Angeles, is going to return airing for the eleventh episode of season 8, a few days from now.

The series comes back after the Thanksgiving break and even when the series doesn't air until a week and a half from now, speculations have already been appearing regarding the upcoming episode's possible plot and twists. There are also rumors that claim two of the show's main casts are possibly leaving.

According to Morning News USA, actor Miguel Ferrer, who portrays the character Owen Granger in the series, is possibly departing the show due to illness. The source reported that the 61-year old actor had suffered from stroke a few weeks ago, which was reportedly the reason why he has not been active on his social media accounts recently.

Ferrer was apparently keeping his illness from his fans and the public. As Chatt Sports Net reported, the NCIS: Los Angeles production team are already preparing the actor for his exit from the show, including a story on the season's seventh episode, where it was mentioned that Granger has an undisclosed health issue, which might lead to the character's death.

Aside from Ferrer, co-star and also one of the main cast of the series, Daniela Ruah, who portrays the role of Kensi Blye, is also reported to be leaving.

The scene from the show where the actress' character suffered from coma after getting stuck at the nose of a plane while catching a terrorist, provided speculations from the fans that Ruah might also leave the show. It can be recalled that the aftermath of Blye's spinal cord injury boiled down to a slim chance of recovery.

However the two celebrities have not yet commented on the speculations about them leaving the show for good.
