AMC's drama-horror zombie apocalypse television series, The Walking Dead, is still the winner when it comes to giving heart attacks to its fans and viewers. The series continues to air its thrilling episodes and with the midseason finale fast approaching, fans cannot wait to find out the next events of the season.

The seventh episode of the season titled "Sing Me A Song" previously showed Negan, portrayed by actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, on his way to continue ruining the lives of the characters. On the episode, he decided not to kill Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and instead, accompanied him back to Alexandria and terrorized Olivia (Ann Mahoney).

He took a tour all around Alexandria, and found Judith, the infant daughter of Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). Spencer (Austin Nichols), Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) arrive at the town, only to find out that Negan and the Saviors are already there.

The next episode will be the midseason finale and fans can't wait to know the fate of the characters. According to International Business Times, viewers of the series sould get themselves ready as it will once again feature a horrible death, probably from one of the major characters. 

According to the source, the synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "Negan's unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control." 

A report from Yibada suggests that fans have been speculating for Negan's death this time. As per the source, Rick Grimes reportedly has several chances to kill the villain character, and viewers are visioning him to take his leadership back and get vengeance to all their friends who got killed by Negan and the Saviors.

On an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the villain, had stated that the upcoming midseason finale is going to be a creepy episode. He added, "We'll see where that goes. Mid-season finale, you know it's going to be big." 

Of course, fans could only wait and see whether the speculations are true or not. 

The Walking Dead Season 7 episode 8, with the title "Hearts Still Beating" is set to air on December 11, 2016 on AMC and internationally on Fox.
