Graphics card manufacturer Nvidia brings in new development called as GeForce GTX 1080 Ti into the tech market. The Nvidia is expected to officially launch GTX 1080 Ti during the CES 2017 event.

The new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will go on head to head with its predecessor GTX Titan X. Comparison is a must to give a clear idea to the enthusiasts of which is the best one.

According to Hardware Battle, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will have a GP102 GPU, 3328 CUDA cores alongside 208 texture mapping units, 160 render output units and a base clock of 1503MHz for a total of 10 teraflops of computing horsepower.

Comparatively, GTX Titan X comes with a 28nm GM200-400 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and 192 texture mapping units, 96 render output units and a base clock of 1002 MHz. With respect to output units and CUDA cores, GTX Titan X comes has lower numbers than the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will come with a better memory frequency than GTX Titan X. i.e. GeForce GTX1080 Ti features a Memory Bandwidth of 384 GB/sec and on the other hand GTX Titan X comes with 336 GB/sec. Looking at the memory figures GeForce GTX 1080 Ti assures a higher performance rate than GTX Titan X.

The GTX Titan X come with a TFLOPS of 11 and comparatively, the TFLOPS of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is only lower by 0.2, i.e. it comes up with 10.8 TFLOPS.

Thus, it is either the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or the GTX Titan X, the price at-last is the decider between the two, of which being the best and gives best user experience. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will cost somewhere around $1000 and Nvidia still keeps the GTX Titan X at $1200.
