At 42-40 last season, the Chicago Bulls finished the NBA season at the 9th spot in the East and didn't make the playoffs. It snapped the Bulls' seventh straight playoff appearance. And because of that, the Bulls made a drastic change on their roster.

They let go of Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol. Rose signed with the New York Knicks while Pau Gasol moved to San Antonio Spurs. And in exchange, the Bulls signed veteran players Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade.

Now at 10-6 win-loss record, they are currently third in the East behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors. They won 6 of their last 8 games. They only lost 1 home game so far at 4-1 but are 6-5 on the road.

Jimmy Butler is slowly getting used to being the leader for the Bulls. In 16 games with the Chicago Bulls, he is averaging a career-best 25.8 points on 49% shooting from the field and 88.7% from the free-throw line. He is also recording 6.6 rebounds (also a career-best), 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals.

New acquisitions Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade are also having a tremendous season on their first year with the Bulls. Rondo is averaging 7.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.3 steals. Dwyane Wade, on the other hand, averages 18.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals, as per ESPN.

But as good as the Bulls were with this 3 great players, the latest NBA trade rumors suggest that adding another superstar will make the Bulls a powerhouse in the East. According to FADEAWAY WORLD, if Anthony Davis would team up with these three players in Chicago, fans might see the Bulls in the NBA Finals in 2-3 years. And in exchange, the Bulls can send Nikola Mirotic, Taj Gibson, Denzel Valentine and a first round draft pick as further dicussed by FADEAWAY WORLD.

Davis is one of the best players in the league right now. Now on his fifth season, he is averaging an NBA-best 32.1 points and 2.78 blocks to go along with 11.2 rebounds. And just his last game against the Lakers, he recorded 41 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

But as good as he is on the basketball court, he failed to lead the Pelicans to victories. Will he be fit in the Chicago Bulls?

If the Bulls are at third place in the East now, how much more if they have Davis with them? He can score from just about everywhere. He can also play defense as he lead the NBA in blocks.

Aside from that, he will have a chance to play for a contender team. And in the East, only the Cavs are capable of matching the Bulls if they have Davis. His talent will be more appreciated if he will play for a contender team.

Will Anthony Davis joining Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade in the Chicago Bulls? Stay tuned for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
