People close to President-elect Donald Trump is wary about the next move of 2012 GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney. It has been known that the former Governor of Massachusetts was a stern critic of the billionaire businessman during the recent campaign period.

Both former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee feel strongly that Romney will be a defamer for the rest of Trump's term. It has been perceived that the loyalty of the one-time senator will be somewhere else.

Huckabee points out that the inclusion of perfidious Republicans will get in the way of the new President's programs. The former minister also adds that Romney is just not on the same page with Trump.

In an interview on Fox News, Huckabee has pointed out the senator's fatal flaw when he personally attacked the President. Although differences on immigration and tax policies have been apparent between Romney and Trump, tearing the latter's personality and honor is just not right.

As of the moment, the incoming President is eyeing both Romney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for the Secretary of State post. There is a possibility that the selection process will expand is likely since spokesman Jason Miller has stated that Trump is not looking to appoint anyone anytime soon.

One strong contender for the position is Bob Corker who is the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman. The Republican from Tennessee shares on MSNBC that it is good that the new President brings an exclamation point to things he faces since he makes matters happen.

Romney has been under heavy scrutiny from the Republican Party when he portrayed Trump as a phony and a fraud in a speech last March in Salt Lake City. During the primary convention, he has called on voters to choose any other Republican in their state.

After reiterating that Trump's business practices lean on dishonesty, the President-elect has fired back by calling Romney a futile candidate who simply wanted his endorsement.

On the other hand, Gingrich has cited that the former senator's loyalty is only to himself, suggesting that Romney's presidential ambitions have always been on top of the agenda.

However, after a meeting with Trump in New Jersey just recently, Romney has described their conversation as wide-ranging wherein the discussion has turned to the essential interests of the US.
