DeMarcus Cousins is considered as the best center in the NBA right now. Drafted as the 5th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, he immediately became the franchise player of the team. In his 6 seasons with the Kings, he averages 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 415 career games.

And because of his talent and size, he immediately rose to stardom. He was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, a two-time NBA All-Star and a two-time All-NBA Second Team. And he was also playing at a very high level this season.

He is averaging 26.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 14 games this season. But despite his individual dominance on the court, he failed to carry his team to the playoffs. In his six seasons with the Kings, the team didn't make the playoffs.

Rumors say that he is a gifted player playing for a bad team. Thus, speculations are saying that Cousins needs to play for a playoff contender so that his abilities will be maximize. And there's no better team for Boogie to play than one of the two rivals that are favorites to face off in the NBA Finals this season which is Cavaliers and the Warriors.

According to iTech Post, both the Cavs and the Warriors are said to be interested in acquiring the services of Cousins.

With the rival Warriors' already acquired a superstar in Kevin Durant last offseason, it is said that the Cavs are looking also to upgrade their roster. If Cousins will play for the Cavs, the team is willing to give away Kevin Love as further discussed by iTech Post.

At 10-2 win-loss record, the Cavs are already dominating the league as they were currently in first place in the Eastern Conference. However, the addition of Cousins could make them more formidable. They might also have a better chance of beating the Warriors once more if the two will once again battle for the Larry O'Brien championship trophy this season.

Although a deal involving him to Klay Thompson is merely just a rumor, many NBA fans are wondering what it would be if the Warriors have the most dynamic center. At 11-2, the Warriors are 2nd in the Western Conference behind the surprising Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors are on a roll recently as they hold are on a seven-game winning streak. But the Warriors clearly lack the presence down low. If Cousins will also be in a Warriors uniform, can anybody stop that kind of team?

According also to Sporting News, the possibility of Cousins being traded this season is very high. If he will not be traded to the Cavs or the Warriors, they is a high probability that Cousins will play for a different team this season.

Will Cousins be playing alongside LeBron James in Cleveland Cavaliers? Will he join forces with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant in Golden State Warriors? Or will he play some other playoff teams like the Clippers, Raptors or Spurs?
