It seems that NBA trade rumors are bugging New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony until now. He's been a familiar figure for a couple of weeks in rumor mills and seems that he will continue to be the hot topic in the coming days. And heading to the Cleveland Cavalier looks to be a perfect fit for him.

Earlier reports have linked Melo to be traded to the Cavs to join good buddy LeBron James and match the 'super team' that the Golden State Warriors build this offseason. It is said that Melo will be moved to the Cavs in exchange for Kevin Love. However, the Cavs seems to be not inclined to trade Love this time as he is beginning to pick up his game and putting impressive numbers.

And with that in mind, another set of proposed deal is being offered to the Knicks removing Love from the equation. According to NBA Trade Rumors machine, since Love is playing well and clicking with the team so far, four players are said to be lined up to the New York Knicks to lure them to give up Carmelo Anthony.

Trade scenario is saying that a package of Tristan Thompson, Jordan McRae, Kay Felder, Channing Frye or Iman Shumpert plus a 2020 first-round draft pick is being tendered to the Knicks for Melo. And this works under the NBA trade and salary cap policy as per checking to ESPN NBA Trade Machine making it a legal deal.

The offer seems to be big but what big can it be having Melo on their roster. And with King James seems to have the say whenever the Cavs organization has a decision, he would push to have this deal happen. James has earlier expressed his dream of playing alongside with his good buddies of Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul and he wishes to make it happen before they retire.

In a report by Jobs & Hire, with Anthony struggling to fit in the triangle offense that Knicks president Phil Jackson is imposing this might force to bolt out with the Knicks and join LeBron for a chance to finally win a championship.

It is also said that being in the league for 13 years, Melo hasn't been in any NBA Finals. Among the top 5 draft pick in 2003, Anthony is the only one who have not yet win a championship unlike James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and even Darko Miličić have already accomplished.

Will the Cleveland Cavaliers pull off this rumored NBA trade deal to the New York Knicks to acquire Carmelo Anthony?
