A "Breaking Bad" star could land a coveted lead role in director J.J. Abrams' upcoming film, "Star Wars Episode 7".

According to The Wrap, Jesse Plemons, who played Todd on the hit series about a meth-dealing duo, has allegedly gone through multiple auditions for a top secret role.  Plemons is reportedly up for a lead role in the "Star Wars" film, which has yet to be announced.

"Plemons is scheduled to meet with director J.J. Abrams next week to discuss the highly anticipated sequel, which is expected to bring back original stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford," The Wrap reports. "Plemons has already taped an audition that was well-received by those involved in the casting process, and he'll by flying in to Los Angeles from Austin, Texas for a second audition that will bring him face-to-face with Abrams."

The entertainment website claims the 25-year-old actor is the top contender for one of the lead roles. However, the official "Star Wars" camp declined to comment about casting news.

Abrams and the rest of the "Star Wars" production team have kept quiet about the film, but have reportedly revealed the plot lines and characters to some lucky Disney Imagineers.

Disneyland's Tomorrowland is allegedly being revamped to follow the story of the new "Star Wars Episode 7" film, according to MiceChat.com:

"The Imagineers assigned to the Star Wars Tomorrowland project have now been debriefed on the characters and plotlines coming for Star Wars Episode VII that opens in theaters in about two years...Those key attractions are all still part of phase two, but they are being layered or tweaked to include references from Episode VII that will be released in theaters at least 18 months before any of those attractions open."
