Apple has rolled out the first beta of an upcoming iOS 10 update, the iOS 10.2. The latest update will bring a few new features, including new emoji and wallpapers to your iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Three new snazzy wallpapers were added in iOS 10.2 and additional options. The wallpapers are designed to bring the best out of the wider color gamut displays on iPhone 7, each of which was used in Apple's advertising for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. They have a black background and floating orb in the middle of the wallpaper.

Luckily someone has taken the liberty to dig deep into iOS 10.2 beta and extract the wallpapers, making them available for download to every user around the world.

But for the upgrade to the beta 10.2 version of iOS, you have to be a registered developer to test the new wallpapers. These wallpapers are exclusive to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users only. So, not fulfilling either one of the abovementioned requirements means that you are totally out of luck, reports wccftech.

Other than new wallpapers, iOS 10.2 has brought fresh bug fixed and new emoji to the iOS. Altogether, Unicode 9.0 includes 72 new emoji, including 22 new emoji from the "Smileys and People" category as well as18 new emoji from the "Food and Drink" category.

iOS 10.2 is released as a beta to developers. If you're already on one of the beta programs, it's available as an over-the-air software upgrade.

For installing it, you just need to go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. Make sure your device is fully charged or connected to the power and you have a backup of your device.

iOS 10.2 is out now to registered iOS developers via the Apple Beta Software Program, and hopefully, we will see a release soon for public beta users also.
