The recent NBA trade rumors have two of the biggest names, Golden State Warriors All-Star Klay Thompson and Sacramento Kings All-Star DeMarcus Cousins doing the rounds.

It is just a week into the season but Thompson and Cousins have their names embroiled in trade rumors. However, it must be noted that it is only one who will be shopped and going by speculations, it is Cousins who stand a higher risk of being dealt.

Talking about Cousins, it is true that his name has been doing the round for the past five years but he was not seen leaving The Kings. But, this time it is different as Cousins is speculated be traded by The Kings before the February trade deadline.

It is rather rumored that within the first half of December, Cousins will be traded by The Kings as they are seriously considering it, reports Sporting News. More so as Cousin is notorious for his rule-flouting nature as well as his headed feuds with referees and coaches. Additionally, even after seven years, he has not been able to help The Kings secure a playoff spot.

But which team will take him and what The Kings get in return is not yet known.

Coming to Thompson, Brian Scalabrine, the television analyst of Boston Celtics, has said that he stands a high stance of landing in Boston Celtics from Warriors, reports CSNNE. He further states that the best offer that the Celtics can make for the Warriors is Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley.

It goes without saying that Thompson would be an incredible addition for the Celtics as he is a strong defender, but the tradeoff may not make much of sense for the Warriors.

Another NBA trade rumor that is doing the round suggests that Anthony Davis from New Orleans Pelicans may land up in Celtics. A trade with the Celtics will surely give the Pelicans' rooster some depth with the draft picks that will let them have a team that is talented in totality.

Well, which NBA trade rumor turns true or which deal materializes and which does not will be clear in the days to come.
