A filed patent has recently revealed that Samsung is creating a smartphone which will look like an elongated slab that has an intriguing automatic hinge and look similar to Microsoft's Surface Book.

According to Phone Arena, it was more detailed than anything they've seen from Samsung and end concluding that Galaxy X might be nearing the end of its development stages.

Latest report from Sammobile noted that a patent application has revealed a number of renders and illustrates the Smartphone's hinge from different angles. 

The Galaxy S8 smartphone has been downplayed by Samsung, which has now reconfirmed that the launch for the Galaxy X is still in question after the company is having second thoughts on releasing the rumored upcoming smartphone.

A tip from a supply chain speculated that with Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mishaps, Samsung has taken a careful approach to releasing statements regarding the hardware of the new products.

According to the leaked information, Samsung Galaxy X will be a narrow flip phone with a foldable display and will be having a special hinge that will keep the phone completely upright. As per leaked diagrams, a clamshell-like device that resembles a makeup compact could be fold out into a rectangular smartphone shape.

According to TechNewsInc, the new Galaxy X will be equipped with an impressive camera and cutting edge display. The Samsung's next flagship will enrich AMOLED screen. It will also feature a resolution of 4K (2160 x 3840) and a dual rear-facing camera. The dual rear facing shooter is not a surprise in the package, as all new premium smartphones are havingwith this feature.

It is also speculated that Samsung is testing with two models with different processors for the Galaxy X. One with Qualcomm 620 processor and other with Qualcomm 820 or 830 processor. The upcoming rumored device may be having a 3GB RAM or higher and will have Micro SD slot for storage expansion.

For the release some reports suggests that the phone is planned to release at the end of coming year i.e. 2017.
