After the release of Android 7.0 Nougat Beta update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones, recent reports indicates that Samsung has deployed a team to work on Android 7.0 Nougat Beta program for the earlier released Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge flagships.

Android 7.0 Nougat is currently the hot trending items for the Android smartphone users. Android 7.0 Nougat update is slowly rolling out into the tech market with recent reports of only 0.3 percentage of Android smartphone users having it.

According to International Business Times, it is reported that the Samsung is working on Android 7.0 Nougat based firmware for its earlier released flagships like Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge and the report shows a firmware build number of XXS5DPK7 for the S6 and S6 Edge released in the year 2015.

The report also indicates that the final version of Android 7.0 Nougat software may have changes and might need finer re-calibration of the source program to fix bugs found in it.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are expected to get the finalized Android 7.0 Nougat update after the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones. As per the report, the Samsung is expected to roll-out the Android Nougat's public version by end of 2017 Q1 for the Samsung galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. However, there are chances of these smartphones getting the update earlier than this assumed timeline.
