Good news Super Mario fans! Super Mario Run could come to the Nintendo Switch. The legendary Nintendo Developer, Shigeru Miyamoto has appeared during the Apple's event, revealing the game that looks to keep Mario's delightful momentum and locomotion.

post made by one of the members of NeoGAF forum stated that the studio's side-scrolling auto-runner platform video game has a possibility to come out with the Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the user wrote that last Sep. 5, Nintendo Co., Ltd. has filed in Japan via J-PlatPat/INPIT a trademark application for its smartphone title "Super Mario Run."

The forum member further wrote a disclaimer stating that Super Mario Run is confirmed to come to a Nintendo Console.

Nintendo Switch will use a Tegra chip

Some reports claimed that it is possible that the upcoming Nintendo Switch will use a Tegra chip from Nvidia.  These Tegra chipsets were also used to some smartphones and tablets.

Super Mario Run was designed as a mobile game on the go. Since Nintendo Switch could also be used on the go.

However, Nintendo might just be protecting its property against mobile games that are known for having several clones. That is something that the company does not want to happen for Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Run will be available on iOS

According to Miyamoto, Super Mario Run will soon be available on iOS. App Store game's page suggested that there will also be options for any micro-transactions.

However, Miyamoto assured that customers will not need to pay beyond initial price. The Super Mario Run is set to be released on iOS this December and will be launched on Android next year.
