It's for sure that most of us have that inner-gamer still lingering inside ourselves. While this is one such news to induce a small amount of excitement, the console gamers in you would definitely love it.

Nintendo Switch or just the Nintendo NX is the next generation of Nintendo home console. It is actually a hybrid video game console which is one of a kind and it's also amazing. To fully believe this, you'll have to get a hands-on of it yourself. But sadly, the hardware is seeing a worldwide release sometime in March 2017 even though it was announced this month.

The Switch in most of the images oddly resembles a tablet with gamepads. But however since it's a portable console designed for the same purposes it can also be inserted into a docking station to connect it to your TV and make it your 'resident' console for comfortable gaming. Even though described so, Nintendo still likes to call it as a home console and not 'portable'.

Nintendo's CEO Tatsumi Kimishima recently confirmed that the two controllers that come bundled are in fact detachable which makes it a part of the initiative. He went on saying "It maybe appropriate to call them accessories or might be better to call them as 'add-on' hardware.'' he also dropped a hint letting curious minds assume that there's more coming to it.

The CEO also detailed about why it wasn't unveiled yet. He carried on telling how making hardware for Nintendo was critical to how it works with their software. He pretty much wants everyone to make sure they feel and get a glance about this in January.

This also reveals that Nintendo doesn't have any plans affecting the sales of their 3DS console but instead Nintendo would begin to diminish producing their Wii U console. As mentioned above the accessories that are going to be a part of this hardware are yet to be made public but all we know for now is that there would be some fantastic additions and about seven of them would be revealed in January 2017.

Nvidia also confirmed that the Nintendo switch will be using a custom Tegra chip. They too however didn't show anything in detail but it would be based on a similar architecture to their top performing GeForce graphic cards that are widely used for gaming.
