It has been rumored that a new HTC smartphone will be released very soon. There were also several leaked renders of the smartphone codenamed as HTC Bolt that was circulated online. But recent reports show that the HTC Bolt will finally be released, but only as a Sprinter exclusive product.

HTC Bolt is new 5.5-inch smartphone, which will be exclusively available at Sprint in the United States. The latest handset is also one of the first smartphones to have the latest version of Android OS i.e. Android 7.0 Nougat as TechTimes reported.

According to Techno Buffalo, the new HTC Bolt will be finally arriving on November 11 in the United States. Even though the initial release of the handset will be limited, but the features and specs of the HTC Bolt will surely attract the consumers.

The HTC Bolt is featuring a design that is similar to the HTC 10. This means a premium metal case with a polished bevelled edge on the back. Also, a fingerprint scanner settled up into the physical home button on the front of the device. The Bolt will use a 5.5-inch screen with the 2,560 x 1,440 resolution.

The screen of the upcoming device will be having 2K display feature with Quad HD display. It will also boast the new water and dust resistant technology that will make the upcoming smartphone more durable than the previous models. HTC Bolt's IP57 rating is enough to protect the device against accidental spill and moisture exposure, reported Christian Times.

According to GSM Arena, the HTC Bolt's IP57 water resistance rating will allow the handset to stay submerged in water for at least 1 meter deep.

Previously several reports have claimed the Sprint HTC Bolt will be using an 18-megapixel rear camera, but Sprint's training manual shows that it will actually boast a 16-megapixel rear camera with a low light-friendly f/2.0 aperture, optical image stabilization and simplified controls.

The rear camera on the HTC Bolt will also support recording 4K video, 24-bit Hi-Res audio, providing exceptional video and superior sound. The front camera is of 8-megapixel.

The Sprint is expected to launch the HTC Bolt tomorrow and it will begin taking pre-orders for the smartphone through its online store.
