The couples from the Duggar family has long been rumored to have considered breaking up and divorcing. Recently, reports are claiming that Anna Duggar is considering divorce from husband, Josh Duggar, to apparently 'rid herself' from the Duggar's eldest son.

In 2015, it can be recalled that the reality family faced their downfall when Josh was involved in a controversy that accuses him of molesting five underage girls that started when he was just fourteen years old. Later that year, the reality star admitted the wrongdoing which eventually caused the series 19 Kids and Counting to be cancelled by TLC after seven years of airing.

According to In Touch Weekly, this time, the star's wife, Anna Duggar, have been thinking about divorcing him to avoid getting involved from the scandal he was in a year ago. The source said that the mother-of-four will be seeing a lawyer for the next few weeks to discuss about the matter and to probably prepare the divorce papers.

The source further claimed that Anna had started thinking her way out of the marriage when few close friends apparently told her that she will be discussing onscreen her relationship with her husband and their current marriage condition. The 28-year old reportedly could not fathom the fact that she will be acting like nothing serious is going on with the marriage, when in fact they have been facing problems.

Christian Post reported that Josh Duggar's incident last year had made a lot of damages to the family, financially and emotionally. The scandal caused abandonment from several television sponsors and advertisements which eventually triggered the cancellation of the series. Although a spinoff is currently airing, it reportedly does not receive as many viewers as the previous series.

Anna and Josh Duggar have four children and it would be a sad moment for the children to see their parents part ways, if these speculations were true.
