Motorola Moto Maxx and Droid Turbo smartphones an now get the Android 7.0 Nougat update via crDroid ROM. Android 7.0 Nougat is the only subject which the Android smartphone users are waiting for.

Google's new OS Android 7.0 Nougat is one of the main criteria for selecting the smartphones in the tech market. Wide range of features in the Android 7.0 Nougat will surely bring a new feel for the Android smartphone users.

According to International Business Times, Motorola Moto Maxx and Droid Turbo smartphone users can experience the Android 7.0 Nougat update through crDroid ROM brought up by the industrious Android custom ROM developers.

Installation steps:

  1. Backup important data and settings on the device, before proceeding.
  2. Download the latest build of Android 7.0 crDroid ROM and Google Apps package for Motorola Moto Maxx and Droid Turbo device.
  3. Boot the device into TWRP recovery mode.
  4. If installing the crDroid ROM on top of another custom ROM, then Wipe Data on the smartphone's internal storage shall be performed (without using an SD card or external storage).
  5. Next, perform Wipe System and Wipe Cache/dalvik.
  6. Browse and select the ROM file downloaded earlier and hit the Install button from the recovery menu.
  7. Repeat the same step after reboot to install GApps as well
  8. Once again reboot the phone after both the ROM and GApps are installed.

Moto Maxx and Droid Turbo will be ready to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat software.

However, users shall perform the above steps on their own risks.
