Just two days before her birthday, Kate Middleton enjoyed some retail therapy at the Peter Jones department store in London's Sloane Square, as Hello! magazine reports, joined by her mother Carole Middleton and sporting a trendy baby-blue coat.

Speaking of "baby," rumor has it that Middleton is at least three months along with her second child, though the Palace has yet to confirm or deny such rumors.

"She was absolutely beautiful," a source told People magazine of the Duchess's latest public outing. "She has a very magnetic energy about her. She looked absolutely stunning. It was nice to see her doing ordinary stuff. You wouldn't have known it was Kate Middleton. The shop is always quite calm anyway, and there wasn't a great deal of people around. It was only when I did a double-take that I realized it was her."

On Thursday, Middleton turns 32, and will reportedly be celebrating "quietly" with friends and family at her Kensington Palace residence, Apartment 1-A. The quiet celebration is similar to her New Year's Eve, a low-key and private affair that she spent with her sister, Pippa Middleton. Such events may signal that Middleton is indeed pregnant, as she has chosen to keep away from the public eye and any kind of partying.

Meanwhile, Prince William has just started classes at the University of Cambridge as part of his agricultural management program organized by the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership. He will finish the program around mid-March, and plans to use his new skills to help develop local and rural agricultural communities across the U.K.
