Rumor has it that OnePlus smartphones will finally get the latest upgrade of Android 7.0 Nougat operating system soon. The newest mobile phone manufacturer is also prepping up for a new device running on the same OS.
Rumors have surfaced that 3 OnePlus flagship models OS (operating system) will get the upgraded version of Android 7.0 Nougat. According to Press KS, One Plus CEO and founder Pete Lau shared a video via his official Twitter account which reveals the OnePlus 3 unit running on the latest Google Android OS.
Because of that, One Plus users quickly speculated that 2 and X Android will highly likely get the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat before 2016 concludes.
With that being said, OnePlus 3 is expected to get the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat since it is the flagship phone of the Chinese mobile company. Then OnePlus 2 is expected to get an Google Android OS upgrade after 2 months or anytime soon in Q1 2017. While One Plus X Android users can already try the newest Nougat OS via the CyanogenMod, Neuro Gadget reports.
Other than that, OnePlus Inc. is also set to launch a new model called OnePlus 3T. The said device will also run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS which houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and a Sony IMX398 sensor which is also available in Oppo R95, International Business Times has learned.
As of now, the official release date of Android 7.0 Nougat update for the said mobile devices has not been confirmed by OnePlus Inc. However, speculations suggest that the newest firmware will be available anytime soon in December 2016.
In the meantime, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is in the final stages of testing the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat. OnePlus Inc. is one of the newest smartphone manufacturers which is being compared to tech giants like Apple Iphone and Samsung.
