Xiaomi Mi Mix is amazing. It's beautiful. Gorgeous we must admit. It seems like it has taken over the world by a storm. Since it's a bezel-less device, it just makes it hard for a user to take their eyes off it.

The phone will see its release on Nov. 4. It's priced around $500, which makes it a selling point to most users considering the debacle of Samsung with their Note 7 and arguably dull iPhones this year.

Moreover, it now directly takes on the OnePlus in pricing territory. This also makes it a point for users to choose between phones based on their needs and not just on looks.

OnePlus too is seeing one of its products being released with the OnePlus 3T, which is also scheduled to be released this month. However, this might be a minor upgrade to the processor and display.

These both could well serve as a poor-man's pixel phones. Coming to the spec-sheet comparison, both phones will be using Snapdragon 821 chips along with Adreno 530 GPU. In terms of displays, Mi Mix uses the full body of the phone hence taking the display size up to 6.3 inches with a beautiful IPS LCD which is bezel-less.

Whereas OnePlus 3T is coming with a full-HD (yet again?) display with a pixel density count of 401. While in the Xiaomi camp, their phone would be running Marshmallow OS v6.0. But OnePlus this time have some great news, with their phone running Nougat based OxygenOS which is a big relief for some of you out there.

In terms of memory storage, Mi Mix clearly stands out as the winner here. Why? It has got storage options up to 256GB whereas the OnePlue 3T is only at 64. Now we understand this doesn't matter a lot to people who hardly store stuff on their phones apart from pictures and music.

But having a bigger storage capacity can certainly be a boon for a lot of people who like travelling and maybe buy a lot of movies from the App store or books from Kindle etc. As we wrote above, it all comes down to user preferences.

The cameras however have the same mega-pixel count with 16MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash etc. There are changes only in the front-facing cameras with Mi Mix having a 5MP camera while the OnePlus 3T has 8MP, which also has f/2.0 aperture and can shoot full-HD videos.
