An accidental revelation by an OnePlus designer in a Weibo post had given clue that confirms another variant of OnePlus 3 is expected and will be apparently called as OnePlus 3T.

Earlier reports have suggested that the phone might be called the OnePlus 3 Plus or the OnePlus 3s but a recent post made by an OnePlus designer confirmed to be called as OnePlus 3T.

The upcoming device has reportedly been certified in China with model number A3010. Expected OnePlus 3T will feature a 2.4GHz Snapdragon 821 SoC processor chipset, instead of the 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 seen on the OnePlus 3. As these changes will bring the new OnePlus 3T variant's performance enhanced by 10 percent in overall.

The OnePlus CEO, Carl Pei has said recently tweeted, "OnePlus will be staying with Optic AMOLED displays for the foreseeable future."

That means the OnePlus 3T is also expected to come with an Optic AMOLED display along with 6GB of RAM and a 64GB of in-built storage. The new model from company can have 16MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera.

In addition, the upcoming device is expected to have a 3000 mAh battery with a Dash Charge, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, and a required fingerprint sensor. Other rumors around the device say that it will be running an Oxygen OS that will be based on the latest Android 7.0 nougat out of the box. 

According to Financial Express, the OnePlus 3T is likely to have a similar design language found in the OnePlus 3, like the all-metal chassis.

OnePlus 3 was launched in India in the month of June this year on the Amazon exclusive. OnePlus 3 has quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with an Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. OnePlus 3 was launched at a price of Rs 27,999
