Rumors abound that the OnePlus 3 Plus, an upgrade to the OnePlus 3, will be released. OnePlus is feeling some pressure after Xiaomi's latest Mi Note 2 launch as the smartphone to take on budget flagships.

Speculations suggest that the "flagship killer" maker has some plans in store to reveal in the competition. OnePlus 3 is one of the extremely powerful and popular industry's leading flagships.

The handset has Snapdragon 820 chipset, which is found in several mid-range flagships such as Xiaomi Mi 5. Also there have been some new handsets like Le Max 2, Lenovo Z2 Plus and Mi Note 2 which are powered by the latest Snapdragon 821.

OnePlus is pressured of its closest rival and planning to reveal some cards soon. The OnePlus 4 is not due until next year. But the company is rumoured to launch a variant of its current flagship to compete the rivals.

The rumours about OnePlus 3T has been confirmed when a OnePlus designers has posted a picture on his Weibo account using the device OnePlus 3T smartphone. OnePlus 3T is reportedly the company's next offering that will be an enhanced version of the OnePlus 3. 

The OnePlus 3T will be featuring an all-metal. The device is said to have a huge 23-megapixel rear camera and an 8MP front focused camera.

The OnePlus 3 is available in Graphite and Soft Gold colour options so can expect the same for the OnePlus 3T also. Colour variant is the only area where the new device is rumoured to differ.

The OnePlus 3T will be coming with Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz. This will be a significant upgrade as compared to the current OnePlus 3 model, which features Snapdragon 820 CPU that is clocked at 2.1GHz.

At glance, OnePlus 3's 6GB RAM and other features are certainly a recipe for success. While OnePlus 3T is going to resemble the OnePlus 3 smartphone with an aluminium body, fingerprint scanner a Dash charge, hopefully Optic AMOLED display, a 16MP+8MP camera setup, USB Type-C and 64GB of storage.

Also, the 3T model smartphone is likely to run on updated Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. According to pocket-lint, the OnePlus 3 had a price tag of £329. Now it has been rumoured that the OnePlus 3T will cost around £65 more than the OnePlus 3, which means it will cost round $480 £395.
