When the winter hiatus of "Glee" comes to an end, several celebrity guest stars and major characters will be making a big return come the Feb. 25 premiere of season 5b, the Christian Post reports.

And while some characters will reappear, others will leave the show for good, including Jayma Mays, who plays Emma Pillsbury. Mays announced that the decision was not made by her but was definite as of last year. It is unknown, however, how she will be exiting the show and the story.

On episode 10 of season 5, Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato, whose characters Elliot and Dani helped form a NYC cover band with Chris Colfer (Kurt), Santana and Rachel Berry, will be making yet another appearance, and it is speculated that this will be Lovato's last episode of "Glee" as part of her six-episode contract. As for if her contract will be renewed, it is unlikely, as the 21-year-old singer and former "X-Factor" judge has decided to focus all of her energy on music this year, including her upcoming "Neon Lights Tour."

We do know, however, that episode nine of season 5, "Frenemies," will feature a duet of the Police's "Every Breath You Take" between Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), and that episode 11 will be called "City of Angels," which will feature a guest appearance by Skylar Astin of "Pitch Perfect" fame.

On episode 12, the 100th episode of "Glee," many originals will be revisitng the show, including Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) and Heather Morris (Brittany S. Pierce), which means there will be "Brittana" this season.
