Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood visited "The Tonight Show" on Monday and talked with Jimmy Fallon about playing as robot on HBO series "Westworld."

During the conversation, Wood explained Westworld's premise. The story is about an Old West theme park inhabited by artificially intelligent robots. The robots have no idea that they exist only to play a role in the often underhanded fantasies of the rich guests who come for an excitement and adventure.

Rachel Wood played one of these robots, Dolores Abernathy. She shared about what it's like to play the role of a human-pretending android robot.

"There're tons of things that make it trickier," the actress said.

"I mean you have to ask different questions as an actor. And we ended up nicknaming them 'bot thoughts.' Because we would have moments where I'm like, 'Do I squint in the sun? Am I affected by this? Is this part of my programming?' So we would always have to stop and go 'Ah, I got a bot thought. Is this analysis mode? Or character? Where am I right now?"

The actress also teased a trailer for the next week's episode, saying things will really get kicking. The trailer revealed that she is Dolores, who is venturing beyond the list of things that she was programmed to do.

Dolores Abernathy will find herself in unknown territory while the vicious Man in Black is getting closer to the center of the labyrinth. Wood's character will reach the town of Pariah that is built on decadence and transgression along with Logan and William. They will immediately be saved and send to a dangerous mission in "Westworld" Episode 5. The new episode airs on Oct. 30 (2016) at 9 p.m. on HBO.
