Rumors suggest that two of them will make their first public appearance as an engaged couple. According to the publication, the rumored couple is planning to have a simple and very quiet wedding.  

The famous actress is very afraid of Tom Cruise's reaction to the news. She fears that her ex-husband will be angry because their daughter Suri will have a new father figure in her life.

Reportedly, the true reason why Katie is not accepting Jamie's proposal is actually her divorce agreement with her ex-husband that prohibits her from dating in a public fashion and letting any man near their daughter Suri until 2017.
