Angelina Jolie and her children were questioned by FBI agents after the actress accused her estranged husband Brad Pitt for child abuse.

On Tuesday, two FBI agents paid visit to Jolie's home in Malibu, California, where they met and spent three hours interviewing Jolie and her kids to share their accounts of what happened in the September flight from France to Los Angles, TMZ reported.

The incident that took place during the flight where Brad Pitt had reportedly misbehaved with 15-year-old-son Maddox. Jolie reportedly cooperated during the entire process.

The officials spent a lot of time trying to estimate the exact location of the jet when the entire incident took place,  whether the plane was in U.S. air space or not. The officials also questioned about what happened on ground when the plane refilled at Minnesota, as reported by the celebrity gossip site. Though it is clear whether officials at Minnesota would have any jurisdiction in this case.

Allegations of child abuse surfaced in September against Pitt after an anonymous report was sent to Los Angeles Department of Children and Family services.

A source close to NY Daily News said that Brad Pitt was never abusive towards any of the six children but an incident did occur during flight. He said, "While this was not his best moment, it's being inaccurately described," the source said. "He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six children. Jolie filed for divorce last month after two years of marriage and 12 years of being together. According to reports, Maddox has refused to visit Pitt earlier this month. As per TMZ , it is unlikely the FBI will press the case against Brad Pitt.
