Quarterback Tony Romo, in the latest NFL news, will not be traded by Dallas Cowboys. According to a report, the team prefers to cut him rather than trading him to other teams.

According to SportsDay, columnist Tim Cowlishaw had a chat with the Dallas Cowboys and the team shared that it's likely Tony Romo will not be traded. So will he still stay with the team or Dallas Cowboys is preparing for another move for Romo?

In a report shared by Cowlishaw, the team is considering a lot of options right now in terms of Tony Romo's status and the good performance of the team right now. If Dallas Cowboys is playing that great and Dak Prescott will continue to play at that kind of level, the team will not make any change.

Moreover, if they make a change, they will check into two alternatives: the team's performance will continue on that level which can lessen locker room dissatisfaction; while the other one is they will switch to Dak Prescott if things will not go well.

The Dallas Cowboys will not trade Tony Romo due to a specific reason concerning financial matter. Supposing they trade Tony Romo with his, health problems, age, and contract, it will be really difficult for them.

It will be very expensive for them and that Romo needs to play this year to make a market for himself. At the moment, he doesn't have one. Surely, this will cost the team a lot and they have to consider what they will get in return and the cost required.

Because of this, the possibility that Tony Romo will be released by the Dallas Cowboys is higher than trading him to the other teams.

Meanwhile, Tony Romo should not think that he is no longer needed in the team because of Dak Prescott because there is a report that if he returns, he would end up messing the team's dynamics. Instead, he should focus on trying to get healthy and practice to show that he is ready to go.

So, should fans be concerned that the Dak Prescott-Tony Romo debate will eventually split the Dallas Cowboys' locker room once Romo stays with the Cowboys? Stay tuned for the latest NFL news and updates here.
