LG is bringing the world's first 105-inch Curved Ultra HD 4K television set that will make its debut at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas this week.

The race to dominate the television market is clearly won over by the South Korean tech giant, LG Electronics. Amid fierce competition with Samsung, LG has taken the lead in introducing the world's first 105-inch Curved Ultra HD TV. The company will showcase the monstrous work-of-art at the most anticipated electronics event of the year, CES 2014, this week at Las Vegas.

Challenging other TV makers, LG is rapidly expanding its 4K TV lineup. The 105-inch 4K TV may steal the limelight at this week's prestigious event; LG is  also bringing its smaller 4K TV range. For those who cannot fit in the 105-inch television sets in their living rooms, they can opt for the alternative models with varying sizes - 65-inch, 79-inch, 84-inch and 98-inch 4K television.

"Our newest ULTRA HD TV offerings are going to turn a lot of heads at this year's CES," In-kyu Lee, Senior Vice President and head of the TV Division at LG Electronics' Home Entertainment Company, said in a press release. "Image quality is simply outstanding, and consumers are recognizing LG as a trend setter in Ultra HD technology and a leader in moving the 4K medium forward."

The giant 105-inch Curved 4K TV boasts a 5,120 x 2,160 screen resolution, which the company claims is "5K" resolution with an unmatched viewing experience. The TV sports a 21:9 aspect ratio and a front facing 7.2 multi-channel Ultra Surround.

On the other hand, the comparatively smaller TV models carry a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and use Ultra IPS technology for better viewing angle and improved color production at the same time. The company's premium UB9800 series 4K ULTRA HD TV lineup, which includes the other four models, uses a proprietary chip for improved overall image quality. The UB9800 series improve any SD, HD, or Full HD content into sharp and near Ultra HD quality content with the help of LG Tru-Ultra HD Engine Pro.

LG did not reveal the pricing and the availability of its new TV lineup, but considering the features these TV models won't come cheap.
