The Cleveland Cavaliers are the defending NBA champs and they would gladly keep that title on their turf this season. And with the signing of J.R. Smith just recently, the drama to make the team contend to others teams looks to be over. That's what they thought.

Looking at their current roster, after losing Matthew Dellavedova and Timofey Mozgov thru free agency this summer, it seems that they are still lacking depth on their second unit. Unlike their Western Conference rival Golden State Warriors who have the "Fantastic Four" of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, the Cavs must act now to defend their title.

Rumors are now spreading that the Cavs are fishing for a high caliber guard who've been on the trading block for a couple of months. According to YIBADA English, the Cavs are now making a move to acquire point guard Eric Bledsoe to the Phoenix Suns.

The acquisition of Bledsoe will make the Cavs more potent on the backcourt as a backup to Kyrie Irving or play them at the same time as Bledsoe is a combo guard.

The report also says that a third team might join the mix in order to proceed with the deal and that team might be the Boston Celtics. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Cavs will acquire Bledsoe from the Suns and Amir Johnson from the Celtics.

The Celtics will then get Cavs PF Kevin Love and Suns C Alex Len. The Suns would welcome guard Marcus Smart and forward Jae Crowder from the Celtics.

Experts say that this deal perhaps would solve the problem on each team as per stated in the report. The Cavs will have a steady support for Irving who can play alongside with him.

The Celtics will finally land Love whom they have started pursuing on the start of  the offseason. While the Suns will get a 3-and-D wing player and a perimeter defender on their roster.

Aside from Bledsoe, the Suns are also considering to trade their other guard Brandon Knight according to the Ecumenical News. Having Bledsoe and Knight in the Suns' lineup is a hard decision for coach Earl Watson to make who will start and who will come off the bench.

Earlier reports have also placed Bledsoe being traded to the Lakers but the deal up until now did not progress. Many say that as of this moment both Bledsoe and Knight are still on the trading block.

Will the Boston Celtics pursue Kevin Love on this trade deal? Will the Cleveland Cavaliers tempt to add Eric Bledsoe to their roster?
