For the past few months, DeMarcus Cousins was always linked to several trade rumors. But for a while, rumors start to fade away. Reports are saying that the Sacramento Kings is willing to stick out with Cousins hoping that he will change under new head coach Dave Joerger and carry his team to greater heights.

But just recently, another trade buzz emerges pointing again to Cousins and six more players. The trade deal that is being brewed involves three teams who are regulars in the trade market trying to come up with a good combination of players on their rosters.

According to Sportsrageous, the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings are said to be discussing a possible tweak on their lineup before the start of the season.

Trade scenario reveals that the Celtics will acquire Cousins from the Kings and Ersan Ilyasova from the Thunder while the Thunder get Gay from the Kings. Lastly, the Kings will welcome Boston's guard Marcus Smart, forwards Jaylen Brown and Amir Johnson and Thunder's forward Kyle Singler.

The report also says that the addition of Cousins to the Celtics will make them a perennial contender. Cousins playing alongside Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas would create another "Big Three" in the Celts after Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen join forces in 2007.

As for the Kings, the arrival of Brown, Johnson, and Singler could fill the void that Cousins and Gay would left if ever this trade will push thru as per stated in the report. It could also be a great opportunity for the Kings to rebuild in a young core with Smart and Brown on the roster.

While on the Thunder side, Gay would fill up the position Kevin Durant who left this offseason and is a good complement to Russell Westbrook. Gay would also help ease some burden to Westbrook on the offensive end as he is a reliable scorer and a team leader who could mentor the young core of the team.

Morning News USA earlier reported that last September, the Thunder use to shop Gay to the Kings in exchange for Kyle Singler, Anthony Morrow, and one more player. The move is a desperation to fill in the void left by Durant and Thunder believes Gay was a perfect replacement for him. But until now, that trade deal never happen.

But this could be a perfect opportunity for the Thunder to pursue Gay with this new trade set-up.

Will the trade of DeMarcus Cousins to the Boston Celtics will come true? Will the Sacramento Kings finally release Cousins and Rudy Gay to other teams?
