Justice League is gathering all the superheroes that were teased in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Under Zack Snyder’s bandmaster baton, the team up went relatively smooth through production so far.

It's assumed that Snyder’s new movie will have a lighter tone than the unmistakably-darker Batman Vs Superman. The same thing goes with other DCE films too, with Wonder Woman (2017) also described as being a lot lither than Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Chris Terrio, Justice League screenwriter, described the movie as being more optimistic than Batman Vs Superman even before the film hit big screens. However, DC Films and Warner Bros were more active about underlining this point. They were bringing multiple locations to the movie’s set and letting the details be shared immediately, before releasing an official trailer at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con (more than a year before the movie hits the theaters).

The director also released a video revealing that the filming in the UK and Iceland is now done… and possibly wrapped overall.

Jason Momoa (Aquaman) has been constantly sharing images from the Justice League's set. The actor has recently posted on Instagram a glut of photos announcing that filming has been done. However, it stays unclear if he means simply filming in Iceland, or he is indicating that Justice League has finished principal photography.

Finishing with the filming of Zack Snyder's third directorial effort in the DCEU gives the film more than a year to be in the post-production process. Since editing on the future blockbuster begins, there surely will be pickup shots (reshoots), but things like that are always been planned. We hope that this extended post-production time will give the studios and Snyder just enough time to deliver a movie that lives up to the hype it definitely has.

Some of the fans probably worry that could happen that all that time between wrapping and the movie coming out could leave more space for studios interference or other drastic changes behind the scenes. So, let's hope that that the studio has learned from previous mistakes. Justice League will certainly continue to be one of the most anticipated movies with growing expectations, however, Wonder Woman could lessen the burden of the movie if the audience receives it positively.
