Phoenix Suns back court is now overcrowded with so many guards and one feasible option according to the latest NBA trade rumors is to trade one of the guard with a strong forward or center to reinforce its frontcourt. Will the Suns trade Brandon Knight?

The Suns has waived three players entering this season, as reported by NBA.  They are center Gracin Bakumanya, forward Derek Cooke Jr. and guard Shaquille Harrison. But Phoenix Suns need to trim its roster even more as it has already jam-packed with so many guards.

One possible option is to trade one of the guards to obtain a strong player in the low-post position. Phoenix Suns can waive Knight in order to get a strong forward or center from either Philadelphia 76ers or San Antonio Spurs. Contrary to Suns that have an overcrowded back court, Sixers has a congested front court with too many centers as the starter - Nerlens Noel, Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor

But losing Knight might reduce the Suns depth, as its roster is already doing well in that area. Knight is arguably the best and most talented sixth man in the NBA today, according to another report.

Although Knight can easily become starter in any other NBA team, he chooses to use his strong leadership skill to lead the Suns second unit and contribute helping so much in scoring.

This season, the entire Phoenix Suns is fun to watch as they work together as a unit. Head coach Earl Watson said in an interview with SLAM that he keeps tally of how many times his players make high five in a game to measure their effectiveness together.

However, coach Watson is still exercising his option in the preseason. So far, Phoenix Suns has played three preseason games. They won the first game against San Antonio Spurs 91-86 but lost the other two games against Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers.

They will play fourth preseason game against Utah Jazz in Vivint Smart Home Arena, Salt Lake City this Wednesday, Oct, 12 at 6:00 p.m. MST. Stay tuned for more of NBA trade rumors.
