Current cast member Vanessa Ferlito will take over Zoe McLellan's role in "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3. "Extra" TV host Mario Lopez will guest star in the upcoming episode 3 'Man on Fire'. That said, CBS has finally released the official plot summary for it.

Vanessa Ferlito will officially replace Zoe McLellan's character in "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3. Ferlito, who currently plays the role of Tammy Gregorio, will take over FBI Special Agent Meredith Brody in the show, M Stars News has learned.

Tammy happens to be an FBI Special Agent who participates in the Prides investigative team. On the other hand, Zoe McLellan officially left the show after the final episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 2.

Aside from that, Mario Lopez will guest star in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans". According to 2 Paragraphs, the 43-year old American TV host and actor will play the role of New Orleans Police Department Officer Hernandez.

NOPD Officer Hernandez will debut in episode 3 where he will meet with the Pride investigative team. Together, they will work in a new case regarding a decorated petty officer found dead in a sports area.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 3, TV Grapevine notes, "Pride and team break the protocol after a murder in New Orleans is linked to a kidnapped petty officer in Mexico.

After a decorated petty officer is found dead inside a sports arena, evidence leads Pride and the NCIS team to a kidnapping case of a petty officer who was last seen in Mexico."
