While most technological organizations are keen on showcasing new products lately, Microsoft goes the extra mile to reinforce this approach. The Washington-based tech company intends to improve hardware efficiency with software upgrades.

On Oct. 26, Microsoft will unveil the Windows 10 Redstone 2 during the company's event in New York. This will be a welcome sight considering that users and enthusiasts are expecting productivity enhancements for desktops and smartphones.

Currently, the tech giant is retooling its OneCore Windows 10 subsystem in order to integrate the Redstone 2. This update will enable the program to be utilized universally across an array of devices.

With Surface units to be released soon, the program is on pace to make certain that developments will intensify and simplify systems performance. These new and exciting features will be unleashed once the update goes fully operational.

Primarily, the integration of the Windows 10 and Office 365 is a priority for Microsoft. With numerous data emerging daily, introducing immediate and simple accessibility to emails, documents, schedules and related details is necessary. This is where the Office Hub becomes meaningful. User updates will be a breeze with file sharing through OneDrive and SharePoint by streaming Office 365. The presence of the Hub on the taskbar is vital to the interface process.

Second, data transfer becomes readily available with OneClip. This universal cross-device clipboard will be incorporated into Windows 10 and Office 365 to allow copy and paste process between the PC and the phone.

Third, files in the OneDrive will be synchronized into the Redstone 2. This will simplify placeholder retrieval.

Fourth, in order to solve troubles involving contact lists, Microsoft will be installing a new 'People Bar' in the taskbar to make name search easy.

Fifth, the Redstone 2 will be used as a connective system for Microsoft devices wherein the Windows 10 PC environment with its multi-window support, functional taskbar and Action Center are integrated.

In addition, the recent release also includes keeping the Application list out of sight in the Start Menu through the Settings. A new Microsoft Update icon is also available where users are able to change the default system of Active Hours for scheduled enhancements.
