Google makes it a point for its loyalists to receive all the updates to its user first than any other partner manufacturers out there. While it's clearly intended for developer usage, the average nexus user could also enroll and start enjoying the early-access privilege.

Google Nexus smartphones, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, enjoyed about five months of beta-developer access and 45 days of stable usage.

Nexus phones 6P and 5X are currently running Nougat v7.1, the only phones so far. Recently, Nexus 6 that Motorola manufactured got stable OTA of Nougat v7.0. It's pretty unknown whether Nexus 5would get one since it's out of the 18-month or two years of updates from Google.

Coming to partner phones, Android authority  detailed about the same on pretty much all of the partners out there. Seems like Samsung fans have to wait patiently just like which one of the only cons of opting for a Samsung flagship. It would take about six months for Samsung users to see stable updates, which takes the ETA to March 2017.

LG phones will supposedly upgrade to the Nougat pretty fast with one of their recent releases LG v20 supposedly one of the only phones to come with Nougat out-of-the-box. Even with so much enthusiasm LG users have to wait for about a couple of months more which is much better than Samsung.

Sony, are very slow at developing their ROMs and Kernels for their users. However, with the latest N developer preview that Sony users enjoy, it would still be evident about receiving the OTA as late as in March.

Moto users are arguably one of the early adopters for every operating system that's been out for now. Hence we can expect an OTA as early as November this year. HTC's one of the upcoming hardware will supposedly come out with Nougat out of the box which is still a best-kept secret. Probably if HTC for the time being pauses on bringing new phones, the OTA update isn't too far away.

OnePlus and Xiaomi: One of the best smartphone manufacturers, but horribly late adopters to new operating systems which makes it obvious for users of both these brands. OnePlus just recently released a Marshmallow based ROM if that can give some insight on that. We clearly do not expect Mi to release the ROMs for Nougat until early February 2017 depending on the roll-out.
