The poor performance of Sacramento Kings, 33-49, during the regular NBA season was blamed to DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. This prompted several analysts to recommend that the Sacramento Kings should let go of them and start a new lineup.

Fair and well enough, the Cleveland Cavaliers is eyeing DeMarcus Cousins to join their team and is even willing to let go Kevin Love in exchange. But earlier reports said the Cavs denied trading Love and that they are not even considering the idea.

DeMarcus Cousins to Leave Sacramento?

However, Sacramento Kings announced that they are willing to trade DeMarcus Cousins to the Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving and not for Kevin Love. Now, this looks like they might have reached an impasse. Everyone is aware that DeMarcus Cousins won't be staying with the Sacramento Kings eventually.

This trade will be very challenging as the Kings need a strong center and Irving is an ideal trade. In order to get back from the previous disaster they made, they have to acquire a great candidate for the center.

However, the most exciting news we all probably want to hear is where DeMarcus Cousins will end up. Several teams are eyeing for him and the chance that he and LeBron James might play side by side during a game is a thing that we can all look forward. However, the LeBron James idea of being a Sacramento Kings is not possible because obviously, his fate is cemented in Cleveland.

Whichever the case will be, nothing is permanent in the NBA. No one is assured that they would be in their current team throughout the rest of their career. This puts us to the thought that anything is possible, and so is a DeMarcus Cousins to Kyrie Irving trade.
