Action Launcher 3 is one of the new launchers that rose to quick prominence, thanks to various new features that the developer Chris Lacy brought in to it.

Now, it is one of the best android launchers that just received a new update which brings out some new features and improvements.

It now adds integration of Nexus launcher's all-app drawer among other things. An official changelog mentioned about how the latest update includes two new primary features borrowed from Google Pixel where Google's icons are around and material. The same has been now implemented in the Action Launcher 3.

Just like how it is in the current pixel launcher, you can now swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal all apps. Google's Pixel phones officially have no launcher and neither do they pop up on the screen unless opted for in the Play Store settings.

The developer has also added a new feature "quickcuts" works similarly to Apple's 3D touch except in Apple phones, you need to hard press the app to reveal the additional functions that is available in the menu. The app also adds an update that includes page indicator.

Majority of the user are fully loyal to Nova Launcher due to its ever rising popularity, thanks to a lot of features that Nova provides in the free version itself where additional features are unlocked through an additional app purchase. It's also noteworthy that Nova Launcher's paid access "prime" is usually sold at 6 cents.

But, Action Launcher too is worthy enough to make use of, considering it's free and has in-app purchases. This is mainly because of the direct support that the developer can receive for all his hard work that gains popularity in the app store resulting in more downloads.

The application also allow users to import their existing layout from whatever launcher they are currently running, even from some bloatware like TouchWiz by Samsung. So far the application looks promising, but it lacks in terms of functionality that Nova launcher provides.

Hence, this would be a talking point considering the application is free. We have to wait and see as to how this can compete with the dominating Nova Launcher that a majority of the Android users are using.
