Playing less than 30 minutes in his second games with his new team, Kevin Durant led the Golden State Warriors in getting past Sacramento Kings, 105-96, to improve their pre-season record 2-1.

Durant's 26 minutes of action on court yielded 25 points for the Warriors gaining much point advantage before the end of the third quarter to pave the way GSW reserve roster to play the entire fourth quarter.

The Kings trailed and took advantage of the sloppy performance of the Warriors' reserve in the fourth quarter, stunning the San Jose visitors with 24 turnovers.

But amid impressive fourth-quarter performance, the Kings failed to overtake the buffer points of the Warriors.

With Durant at its line-up, the Warriors manage to secure two successive victories this week. First against Los Angeles Clippers, 120-75, on Tuesday.

Former two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash said the impressive victory of the Warriors against the Clippers highlighted the team potential to win the NBA Championship crown this season.

With Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, among others, Nash said history may be on the horizon for the team as they could easily get into the playoffs if they could implement the necessary adjustment this early.

"If they can get through that process of change and find that cohesion, they'll have no ceiling," he said as quoted by NBA.com
