The long-dreamed possibility of NBA Superfriends playing as a team can become a reality as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul were rumored to unite  under Sacramento Kings in 2018.

For the previous weeks, rumors about LeBron James' possible departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers have been buzzing around. These rumors further sparked speculations that the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player will be joining Kings together with Anthony, Wade, and Paul. The quartet dubbed as 'Superfriends' due to their athletic prowess.

A report from King James Gospel noted that the Sacramento Kings could be a possible team destination of LeBron James and further suggested a potential depth chart as follows:

PG: Chris Paul

SG: Dwayne Wade, Malachi Richardson

SF: LeBron James

PF: Carmelo Anthony, Skal Labissiere

C: DeMarcus Cousins, Willie Cauley-Stein

The report further explained the possible motive of LeBron James for joining the Sacramento Kings, because doing so would "present an opportunity for all the Superfriends to start. The quartet also has the chance to play with a certified superstar at a center that can carry the team if need be. The talented youth on the Kings depth chart also have a lot of potential themselves. Oh, marketing ability of having King James play for the Sacramento Kings? Priceless."

With DeMarcus Cousins opting to stay and continue manning the frontline of Sacramento Kings, as per iSport Times, the potential team dubbed as 'Super Team' would surely be a force to reckon with in the NBA league.

The two-time NBA All-Star Cousins expressed his excitement over this rumored Super Team. "It's a new system, of course, a lot of options, man. The offense is different. I think it's a good look for our team. I think this will help this team get to the next level," iSport Times quoted Cousins saying via Sacramento Bee.
