The release of Marvel's latest movie, 'Doctor Strange" will be in November. It will showcase the debut of a classic Marvel character and is expected to widen the scope and possibilities of the Marvel Universe. A current interview with the star Benedict Cumberbatch suggests its connection to the existence of the Illuminati.

With this Illuminati conspiracy looming in, the upcoming Marvel movie has just taken the spotlight to itself, gathering more and more curious minds into what the superhero film is all about.

In Cumberbatch's own words:

"I think playing an iconic role when you're stepping into big shoes, into the shadow of people who have come before you and you can't process that in a movie to movie basis... I'm excited to see where the Illuminati and whatever else might happen, and where it ends up. And as you know, from all these previous incarnations, the play out in unexpected ways from the comic format and journey, so they manage to both fulfill that magical space of doing things that seem to please diehard fans and bring something new as well."

What to Expect in Doctor Strange?

The Illuminati is a shady group of the Marvel Universe's most sturdy individuals who form events from behind the scenes, in the comics. But Cumberbatch's statements don't directly prove that the Illuminati will be seen in 'Doctor Strange' or in any future Marvel Films.

Ten years ago, the group consisted of Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Mr. Fantastic, Namor, Black Bolt and Professor X. The list is made of characters that are yet to be introduced. This is because Marvel did not currently the movie right during those times.

This brings us to the thought that Cumberbatch might be the one referring to an organization that simply uses a name with a similar comic book connection. The embodiment of the Illuminati would have to take at least a different form.

'Doctor Strange' the latest part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be in theaters on November 4, 2016, featuring the much-loved actor, Benedict Cumberbatch.
