Apple is taking the spotlight all to itself as rumors surrounding its upcoming iPad Air 3 is literally everywhere. Devoted Apple fans are drooling over the newest tweaks on the company's new tablet. Here are some of the features fans can look forward to in the newest iPad.
Apple is not over with the iPad Air brand yet. Instead, the tech giant is rumored to also be developing the iPad Pro, according to MacWorld. Though it is not yet confirmed, according to the same report netizens speculate a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air with a screen resolution of 2048x1536.
Smart Keyboard Cover
Rumors are circulating that a Smart Keyboard Cover will be connected to a Smart Connector positioned on the left-hand edge of the upcoming iPad Air 3. This feature allows the connected Keyboard cover to drag power from the battery of iPad Air 3 with the use of Smart Connector.
The only Apple tablet that is compatible with the Apple pencil when it was launched was the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The selling point of the device at the time was unique.
Apple has been flooded with requests for Apple pencil suitable for their tablets and the Cupertino-based company is believed to have started the works on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The iPad Air 2 is 6.1mm thick but the original iPad Air is 7.5mm thin.
According to PC Advisor, Apple is set to surprise the devoted fans with an iPad Air 3 that is 6.1mm thin. A more powerful but smaller battery is rumored to power the new iPad Air model.
The iPad Air 3 is believed to be powered by Apple's proprietary chipset the A10. Identical chips have powered the newly release iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which both gained good reviews due to its excellent device performance.
