Peaky Blinders has been confirmed for Season 4 and Season 5. The filming for the former is expected to begin in early 2017 but viewers are already wondering what lies in store for the gangster family. The cliffhanger finale has fueled a lot of questions and most pertain to the lead character Tommy Shelby.

Everyone thinks that Tommy has betrayed his family, but it looks like he might have a plan, reports The Week. He might return to his Brummie roots and then prepare himself to avenge his family. Actor Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy, has said that everything has changed and the family of Tommy is against him. Now it is up to him to prove that he is loyal to them but for that he must have a bigger plan and it is still not known as to what is his bigger plan.

Speculations also suggest that the gangster will again fall in love in "Peaky Blinders" Season 4. Actors Cherrelle Skeete and Esther Smith, who have been cast for the next season, are rumored to be his potential love interests. Notably, Season 3 saw Grace, Tommy's wife, dying after she was shot at by a secret assailant.

The tragedy was very painful as the two were deeply in love but some also feel that Grace might return. Actress Anabelle Wallis, who played Grace, also hinted at her return as she said that her death had devastated so many that she had to give them hope. She also said that she is holding on to conspiracy theories about her return.

Meanwhile, it is speculated that Polly's son, Michael will evolve into a full-blown gangster in the next season, claims Game & Guide. He looks all set to shun the role of the amateur accountant and take the lead to handle the illegal doings at Peaky Blinders. So, Tommy might witness his downfall and see Michael rising to fill in his shoes.

It is worth mentioning here that BBC has not announced the premiere date of Season 4 but it is expected to return by the end of 2017.
