A lot is going to take place on the next episode of "The Young and the Restless" as emotions run high and mystery also make an appearance.

CBS has released the official synopsis for the Wednesday episode for "The Young and the Restless," reports Hollywood Hills. The synopsis hints at some interesting drama as it says that Nikki will be questioning Victor's motives.

She tells him that they will be going to Faith's party later to which he responds by saying that he hopes Travis would also attend it. This makes Nikki ask his motives and he tells her about the offer he is going to give Travis.

On the other hand, Chloe tells Chelsea that she feels Sharon is pushing Nick towards her. Chelsea dismisses her view and says that they are just friends but when she comes to Sharon's place, she shares some warm moments with Nick. Sharon notices their closeness. At the party, Nikki and Sharon admire the fact that their husbands have made peace, reports Celeb Dirty Laundry.

However, when Nikki points out that Sully is big for his age, Sharon becomes a little nervous. Things do not go well for Mariah either as she confides in Dylan about Chloe and how Kevin could be hurt by her deception. As for Chloe, she comments that Mariah is envious and tries to clarify her stand as to why she changed her mind about Kevin, but Mariah does not listen.

When Chloe tells her that they need to get over this if they have to continue working together, Mariah says that she is quitting the job. Later, Kevin asks her if she quit because she was jealous and she requests him to see Chloe's true face. She tells him that Chloe is a liar but Kevin does not listen and takes Chloe's side. This makes Mariah quit.

At his home, Dylan receives a call but the caller hangs up. This makes him wonder as to why it has started happening so frequently. As for Hilary, she and Devon are celebrating their success but it might be too soon to do it. Unexpected problems might emerge eventually and ruin their celebrations.
