Training camps already began and the NBA regular season will open on October 25. But trade rumors are still hitting the headlines in the basketball world. As teams find ways to upgrade their rosters, one name is still not out of the shadow of a trade rumor, Kevin Love.

Love's name got the most number of mentions in a trade rumor offseason. This as many claimed that the Cleveland Cavaliers is searching for a more impact player that could replace Kevin Love in the rotation. And this new trade gossip could be the answer.

According to The Inquisitr, the three-team deal between the Cavs, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Atlanta Hawks are said to be discussing the trade quietly.

The rumored swap will involve five players including a future draft pick. The trade scenario would be the Cavs will get Hawks power forward Paul Millsap and Thunder small forward Kyle Singler. In return, the Thunder will acquire Kevin Love; while the Hawks will get Thunder power forward Ersan Ilyasova, rookie Domantas Sabonis and a future first-round pick from the Thunder.

The report also disclosed that the Cavs and the Thunder got the better on this trade however the Hawks might apparently consider this trade. Millsap has a player option next season to opt out on his contract and rather than losing him thru free agency the Hawks might take the risk.

On the separate report by Parent Herald, the Cavs already announce that they will not trade Kevin Love. But the addition of Millsap on their roster means higher chances that they can compete with the Golden State Warriors.

Aside from that, they got an All-Star caliber player that they wish for, the Cavs are also giving a favor to Love to bring his talent alongside college buddy Russell Westbrook.

The report also says that Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook was very close during their college days in UCLA and Love once said they build a "brotherly bond" as roommates during those days.

Indeed, this is still speculation and no one knows where this trade rumor will go. Will the Cavs finally release Love? Will the Hawks take the risk of trading Millsap?
