Another NBA trade rumor is circling around the league and it is "big." Rumors have it that it involves two centers for two teams -  Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousin and Toronto Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas.

Cousins have been involved in so many trade rumors during the offseason. Recently, he is involved in trade talks going to Cavaliers, Lakers, and Celtics but no deal ever took place with any one of the teams cited. But as the NBA season begins, the buzz on trading Cousins to the Raptors have the bigger possibility and it is likely going to push through.

According to Asia Starz, the Raptors have shown interest in pursuing Cousins since last summer. Although there's "no credibility" on who speculates this rumor there's no denying that it's a viable trade, most especially for the Raptors. The report also says that Raptors would release Jonas Valanciunas, Cory Joseph, and Norman Powell in exchange for Cousins but such has yet to be confirmed.

Last season, the Raptors are among the teams who have risen to the challenge as they've gotten 56 wins, the best record of the Canada-based franchised. They were able to reach the Eastern Conference Finals but were eventually beaten by the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-2 in the series. But now, the Raptors are still deemed to replicate what they did last season and it is favorable if the likes of Cousins will come aboard.

A report by ChattSportsNet.com said that if Cousins sign with the Raptors, a possibility that they could depose the Cleveland Cavaliers off their perch can become clear on the horizon. But the report also says that the Kings will not likely release their big young man at the moment. He's still labeled as the Kings' franchise player even though he has an attitude problem - an issue the team is carefully handling.

The Raptors already got the two best backcourt duo in the form of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, and the potential addition of Cousins looks so appealing. Lowry, DeRozan, and Cousins are teammates in the US Basketball team who just won the gold in the recently-concluded Rio Olympics. They have the chemistry already and it is safe to say that to have them in the court in one team is promising.
