While fans are probably missing Fast and Furious star Paul Walker after his untimely death in 2013, fans could possibly take a brief glimpse of the actor once again in the upcoming franchise of the action movie.

In a report of Movie News Guide, Vin Diesel along with the Fast 8 team recently revealed some plans regarding a cameo of Brian O'Conner. The media outlet cited an interview of Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker with Entertainment Tonight in which the two further revealed Diesel's plan for O'Conner's character.

"I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted our blessing," Caleb said to ET, further adding that Diesel asked if and when they thought it "would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul's character back, to really kind of let his fans know he's still out there."

Fast 8 is the first film of the franchise other than Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift where Paul Walker will not star. Upon dying in a vehicle crash prior to the final production of Furious 7, his two brothers stepped in as a double to finish Paul's remaining scenes.

With this recent revelation, it is apparent that Fast 8 is considering a Paul Walker cameo. There are no details yet, however, whether the cameo will be done through CGI or Paul's brothers will act for the dead actor.

Whereas both scenarios are possible, fans would love to see Paul Walker again on Fast 8 as the beloved actor would always have a place in his fans' hearts. Caleb and Cody further opened up about their previous experiences in Furious 7, stating that it helped them grieve and come to terms with the painful loss of Paul.

"We got to understand more about Paul, and what he was all about. We had to share Paul with a lot of people, in a weird way. He was gone a lot, he was filming, so we missed him. Sometimes at the holidays he wasn't always there, you know? He tried. We'd see him on set, we visited a few times, but to kind of get that closure, and understanding of Paul was really special," Caleb further shared.

Fast 8 will hit theaters on April 12, 2017. May Paul Walker ride in peace. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
