It is rumored that the Sacramento Kings is still searching for a good deal to trade guard Ben McLemore because of his unimpressive performances in Kings' uniform. But another report disclosed that he will still play for the team because of new Kings head coach Dave Joerger.

Ben McLemore had been in the trading block for quite some time, per iSports Times. But it is also reported that head coach Dave Joerger plans to keep McLemore on the Kings roster.

Other observed that McLemore is a very talented player, but he has not given enough playing time. With the coming of shooting guards Malachi Richardson and Aaron Afflalo to the Kings roster, it is not guaranteed that McLemore will play more minutes in the coming NBA season.

But Joerger said he was marveled at what McLemore has been showing so far. If given more playing time this season, McLemore must maximize this chance to build up his credentials so that he get a substantial salary raise and a lucrative deal.

Another rumor surfaced that McLemore could be traded for Michael Carter-Williams of the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Chatt Sports Net, the Kings needs a great point guard right now after losing Rajon Rondo to Chicago Bulls. If the Sacramento Kings wants to win a championship, they need to have a great point guard who could feed the ball to 2-time All-Star Demarcus Cousins.

They also needs a point guard who could spread the ball well. To get Michael Carter-Williams, trading McLemore to the Bucks might be probable.

Before entering into the NBA, McLemore is compared to Ray Allen, one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. The three-year pro averaged 9.7 points, 2.7 rebound and 1.3 assists per game in his NBA career. McLemore is said to be a talented player on the wrong team. But reports said that he might flourish with Bucks head coach Jason Kidd guiding him.

While things are still uncertain, McLemore said that he is just focusing his attention right now on becoming a better player.

In a statement regarding the trade rumors, he said, "I've been really focused on myself this summer. I let my agent, I let my manager handle all the front-office business while I focused on Ben. I just told my team to keep me updated on anything dealing with me so I can continue to be a pro and focused on my game."
